Integrated mains voltage surge protector

Legrand offers a range of electrical switches and sockets that include voltage surge protectors. Called Mosaic, they are designed for localised protection of the mains supply of computer and electronic equipment against lightning and voltage surges.

These devices, which have a nominal discharge current of 20 shocks at 2,5 kVA (wave 8 x 20 μs) and a protection level of 1,5 kV, can be connected to a socket. Display of operation is evident by a voltage surge protector indicator.
