The 2027 SM series of surface mount gas discharge tubes from Bourns features fast response to transients, low capacitance and is available in DC breakdown voltages ranging from 90 V to 600 V with a current rating of 20 kA for 8/20 micro-second surge waveform.

The 2027 SM series GDTs are well-suited for board level protection of broadband applications such as VDSL2, VDSL, ADSL2+, ADSL and high-speed Ethernet since their capacitance is less than 1 pF. These devices have dimensions of 6 mm x 8 mm.
