Tektronix was named a recipient of Intel’s Preferred Quality Supplier (PQS) award for outstanding performance in providing products and services deemed essential to Intel’s success. The company was recognised for its efforts supplying Intel with test and measurement equipment.

"This award reflects our commitment to deliver excellence in our products and services in order to help our customers create innovative, market-leading products," said Rick Wills, president and CEO of Tektronix. "Intel is one of our largest global customers, and we are honoured to be recognised for enabling its success."

"Tektronix is a very highly valued supplier of critical technology that has allowed Intel to deliver its next generation microprocessors and chipsets at an accelerated pace. Time and again it has clearly demonstrated a commitment to customer service," said John Barton, general manager, Platform Validation and Enabling, Intel Corporation.

The PQS award is part of Intel's Supplier Continuous Improvement (SCQI) process that encourages suppliers to strive for excellence and continuous improvement.
