New local source for memory tokens and keys

Components & System Design has entered into an exclusive distributor agreement with Datakey Electronics, a manufacturer of portable, rugged keys and tokens containing non-volatile memory.

For over 30 years, Datakey has supplied fully-engineered solutions, with life-of-project support, to OEMs.

The company's re-programmable products solve data transport, security, and access control problems in harsh environments and are available in a range of capacities and interfaces. In addition to broad security applications, its products are used for: firmware updates; data storage; survivable ID tags; process control; electronic purses; authentication; machine control; biometrics; crypto ignition keys; computer access; etc. They are also useful in cashless vending, secure data transfer, and cryptography.
