Custom Printers exhibited the new MKII version of its successful VKP80 kiosk printer at the recent Futurex Exhibition held at the Sandton Convention Centre.
The VKP80 II model which prints at 220 mm/sec on paper width 60/80/82,5 mm (adjustable by the user) now features an adjustable paper low sensor, enhanced reliability (100 km head life and 1 000 000 cutter life) and an Ethernet interface that allows monitoring via an IP address visible from any remote PC, plus diagnostics via the Internet, regardless of operating system. Installation is claimed to be fully plug-and-play with no software development required to use the new features. This printer is ideally suited for Internet, information and multimedia kiosks, ATMs and self-service machines.
