Filtered terminal blocks provide EMI protection

Spectrum's series of filtered terminal blocks is designed to provide excellent EMI protection for AC and DC power and control lines beyond 1 GHz. Ideally placed at the power entry of shielded cabinets or racks such as Advanced TCA, these terminal blocks effectively eliminate electromagnetic noise at the source. Applications range from pulsed lasers and medical equipment to telecom and industrial systems.
Each connection is equipped with a powerful 2500 pF Pi filter with a current rating of 20 A in the standard version. By using custom designs this can be extended to 60 A. Provided that proper grounding and shielding considerations are observed, these terminal blocks provide more than 70 dB insertion loss to beyond 1 GHz.
This series is available with two to six lines and rear termination options include straight leads, 90° bent leads and male or female fast-on tags.
