The UTO Industrial RJ45 Ethernet series from Souriau offers a connector solution to set up a high speed Ethernet network for industrial and other harsh environments. These connectors are suitable for data transmission over Cat5e cable per TIA/EIA 568B and class D per ISO/IEC11801, for 10 BaseT, 100 BaseTX, and 1000 BaseT networks.
The connectors feature IP67 protection with secure mating over a minimum of 500 cycles. The mating is simple and rapid with only 1/3 turn, and successful mating is indicated by an audible and sensitive 'click'. For increased durability, the connectors are resistant to salt spray, shock and vibration. The cable plug is quickly assembled without the need for any tools, with three possible insert orientations.
