The M8/M12 connector system from Tyco Electronics provides reliable connection to sensors and related products in the industrial machinery and factory automation markets. An established connection standard, M8/M12 connectors also find growing application outside of these industries where a compact connection system with environmental protection is required.
Single-end terminated cable assemblies utilise an over-moulded construction with a choice of PVC or PUR cables in 2 to 10 metre lengths. Within the M12 cable assembly range, additional options include screening and LED indication. Panel mount products are offered with a choice of solder cup or PCB termination. For rewiring on site, a range of field serviceable connectors is available, while Y-adaptors facilitate simple splitting of control signals. All products offer a minimum of IP67 protection.
Additional options are available on request, including B & D coded M12 products, alternative mounting arrangements for panel mount connectors and double-ended cable assemblies.
