Miniature wire-wound power inductors

Taiyo Yuden has developed a new series of miniature wire-wound power inductors. Measuring just 2,5 mm x 1,8 mm with a 1,2 mm maximum height, the BRL2518 Series devices offer an excellent combination of low DC resistance (0,08 to 0,4 Ω), high inductance (1,0 to 4,7 μH) and high current ratings (1,6 to 0,7 A). These inductors are ideally suited for DC-DC converter choke coil applications in hard disk drives, LCD displays, digital cameras, personal digital assistants and other devices.
