ACCEL Technologies, a leading developer of Windows-based electronic design software, has released P-CAD 2000's sophisticated new shape-based autorouter. Adding to the already powerful array of P-CAD 2000 features, the company says the autorouter is now supplied as standard for all new users and will be shipped free of charge to all P-CAD 2000 users on a current maintenance agreement.
The addition of state-of-the-art shape-based autorouting to P-CAD 2000 continues the development of the package as the new standard for high-performance, yet cost-effective PCB design systems. This latest enhancement adheres to the strategy of creating a powerful tool set which maximises productivity, enabling designers to shorten design cycles and comfortably meet time-to-market goals.
Combining a host of powerful interactive and manual routing features offers superior results and enhances design productivity. With features such as advanced schematic-PCB linking, comprehensive manual and interactive placement and routing tools, integrated component library management, and versatile documentation and design annotation support, P-CAD 2000 brings unprecedented power and reliability to the PCB design desktop.
