American Zettler has developed a new high temperature version of its AZ762 relay. The new relay, designated AZ762H, is rated by UL for 16 A, 277 V a.c., general use, 100 000 cycles at an ambient temperature of 105°C. With isolation of 10 mm and a dielectric strength of 5000 Vrms, this relay is suitable for many HVAC and white goods applications where high ambient temperatures might pose a problem for other relays. The AZ762H relay is available with epoxy sealing for automatic wave soldering and washing. Both standard (400 mW) and sensitive (250 mW) coils (5 through 60 V d.c.) are available. The AZ762H is RoHS compliant and has full UL/CUR/VDE approvals.
