Cobar Europe announces local representative

Cobar Europe has announced the appointment of PEM Technologies to represent Cobar products in South Africa, as of 1 November 2007.

PEM Technologies has been in operation since 1999, supplying high tech production equipment for SMT and conventional processes into the southern African market. The company was founded on its working experience over the past 16 years of electronic manufacturing in the SA market, with a clear focus on meeting the ever increasing requirements of technology development.

Cobar, recently incorporated into the Balver Zinn Group, was founded in 1983 in Holland, and is a recognised global supplier of solder paste, solder fluxes and related materials for electronics assembly. Cobar is a European leader in lead-free and VOC-free soldering materials and is accredited to the prestigious ISO/TS 16949 Quality Management Standard.
