Poynting Antennas, the South African supplier of antennas in the wireless data and cellular markets as well as defence and specialised markets (direction finding, monitoring, RCIED, jamming) has announced the opening of its European office located in Grünwald near Munich, Germany. The office will run under the name of Poynting Europe and will be headed by Dr-Ing. Herbert Bauer, who has more than 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
After successfully serving customers out of South Africa, Poynting Antennas felt it was time to get closer to its customers in the large and growing European markets. "Being central in Europe, Munich is the ideal location for serving our customers in both Western and Eastern Europe", says Dr Bauer. Poynting Europe is expected to play an important part in further boosting the growth of Poynting Antennas.
