New from Mean Well is the SD-1000 series of 1000 W enclosed type DC-DC converters, expanding the company's SD product lines to a higher wattage range for the growing demand of high wattage DC-DC applications.
Featuring a 4:1~2:1 wide DC input range and 2000 V a.c. input/output isolation, these converters have two different DC input levels 19 to 72 V (L type) and 72 to 144 V (H type) - and three kinds of DC output level - 12 V, 24 V and 48 V - for customers to select from.
With built-in short-circuit, over-load, over-voltage and over-temperature protection, these 1U low-profile converters are suitable for general electrical engineering usage, automotive usage and battery back-up applications with space constraints which require a compact DC-DC power solution. Other standard functions include 12 V/0,25 A auxiliary output, output OK signal, remote ON/OFF control and remote sense function.
