High current inductors operate up to 1 MHz

BI Technologies has developed a high frequency inductor with excellent power dissipation.

Designated the HM58 Series, the inductor features a thick coil wire rated for saturation current up to 60 A, making it suitable for industrial and high frequency applications.

In addition to its high current rating, the inductor features low DCR losses and is suitable for high frequency applications up to 1 MHz. The HM58 series is being specified for use in applications with limited printed circuit board space due to its small package size.

The HM58 series features inductance values from 0,22 μH to 2,00 μH, with DCR tolerance of ±3%. Operating temperature range is -40°C to +125°C. The inductors feature three open sides, making them suitable for automatic pick and place equipment, and are available in standard tray packaging.
