Micro contact in IP68 sealed circular cable systems

Samtec has announced the addition of its new Micro AccliMate IP68-rated Sealed Circular Cable Plug and Receptacle System. The panel mount receptacle is terminated to the board with a 1,27 mm pitch discrete wire socket or terminal cable assembly (SFSD/TFSD) system. Tiger Eye Contacts are also used in the SFSD/TFSD Series.

The SCP3/SCR3 series cable plugs and receptacles are double-ended, manufactured with 28 AWG cable, and have size 10 shells with 14 rugged Tiger Eye contacts. This system meets IP68 standards for dust- and water-proof sealing and is RoHS compliant. Dust caps are available for both the cables and receptacles.

Acclimate IP68 Sealed Circular assemblies also include Ethernet, USB, RF, Power and High Density systems.
