Free line conditioner with UPS

Tripp Lite, worldwide manufacturer of power protection products, is offering customers a free 500 W line conditioner bundled with every SmartInt UPS they purchase between now and 30 June 2001. This is part of the new line of intelligent UPS systems released to the South African market via local distributor Comztek.

"The SmartInt series offers sophisticated power management capabilities and long battery back-up times which makes them particularly well suited to network servers and telecommunications equipment," explains Comztek Product Manager Lee-Anne Hutchins.

Hutchins adds that SmartInt UPS Systems offer advanced power protection features such as automatic voltage regulation (AVR) which provides nominal power to connected equipment during low voltage conditions (brownouts) without draining battery power. The line includes six models, rated from 450 VA (volt-amp) to 3000 VA output. The 3000 VA model features external battery connectors that permit users to extend its battery capacity if they require even more battery back-up time.
