Fujitsu has released a low profile, polarised latching power relay the same size as the JS series relay at 29,3 x 10,3 x 12,8 mm (L x W x H).
The PCB mount JSL relay has one form A or one form C contact and one or two coil DC windings, low power consumption (220 mW for one coil, 480 mW for two coils) and is capable of 100 000 operations of 8 A at 250 V a.c. or 24 V d.c. Typical applications are battery powered equipment like thermostats, power control metering and home automation control requiring a memory function.
With 5000 V a.c. dielectric strength and 10 000 V surge strength, the relay features sufficient isolation for the targeted applications due to a unique pin layout allowing simplified PCB layout. The JSL uses a highly efficient magnetic circuit, utilising a powerful permanent magnet, which minimises size, weight and power consumption. A highly conductive spring, along with high temperature moulds and coil wire, makes it suitable to be used in high temperature environments.
