IEC-connector filters with low mounting depth

The new range of SRB filters from Tyco Electronics ranks as one of the IEC-connector filters with the lowest installation depths on the market. The filters are fully shielded and available with various capacitance values. This combination results in outstanding common-mode rejection, which minimises the interference voltage depending on the model, and can reduce the radiation interference.

The filters are designed for current levels up to 15 A (10 A VDE) and voltages up to 250 V a.c. All versions are also available without filters or with one of eight different capacitance values, respectively tailored to the different performance requirements.

A selection of numerous assembly and connection options is available, including flange or snap-in attachment, flat-cable plugs, cables and connector pins for PCB mounting.

The components are suitable for power supplies and other applications requiring a small, low cost interference suppression solution.
