For test pin applications requiring reliable interface contacts, Ingun has developed a system that provides both good mechanical contact, with transition resistance of less than 5 mΩ, and remarkably little mechanical wear on the contacts, allowing for up to 100 000 mating cycles.
The system employs a unique array of hyperbolic contacts on the female receptacle (KT-375 HW-B) that contact with the male pin (KT-375 HW-S) around a full 360° to ensure good contact. The result is a low extraction force of 0,14 to 0,91 N, while maintaining high current transfer capability up to 4 A.
