The HT88 is a new multimeter for the professional where specific features are available for all the measurement needs of electronic engineers, electricians and electrotechnicians. The HT88 is provided with the RS232C interface capabilities, for which the bi-directional RS232C interface cable and Windows software disk are supplied as standard accessories. This meter has en elegant but practical design and incorporates an overmould rubber holster. This double-injection case design gives the meter extra drop protection.
The HT88 is a true-RMS meter with a 4000 count display, giving the rms value whatever the signal - distorted with DC component or sinusoidal. The MT88 is best suited for installations that have non-linear loads such as fluorescent lighting, chopped power supply and speed variators.
An innovative feature on this meter is the automatic AC/DC selection. There is also a manual range override. The HT88 includes a backlight for measurements in arduous areas, which automatically turns off after a short period of time.
Other functions of the meter are the measurement of AC and DC voltage, fused AC and DC current up to 10 A, resistance to 40 MW, frequency and capacitance. Features include 'wrong terminal inserting warning beeper', auto power off, continuity buzzer, diode test and data hold. The HT88 DMM is designed for complete safety.
