Application software for portable data-loggers

30 April 2008 Test & Measurement

XL900 is a new application software package for the Yokogawa Datum-Y series of portable data-loggers.

The new software allows up to 10 units to be connected to create a 160-channel data-acquisition system, and acquires measurement data from the multiple units in realtime over a period ranging from one second to one minute.

The software also provides a display function that allows measured data to be displayed as a waveform, in digital form, as a bar graph or as a simulation of an analog meter. Other features include dedicated calculation functions (including multiple calculations) on up to four channels, waveform data analysis, and data saving and processing.

A multinetwork interface allows it to be used with Ethernet, USB, RS232 and RS485 connections.
