Equipped with eight independent channels, the 3-phase PowerGuide 4400 from Dranetz is an advanced power monitoring instrument incorporating a colour touch-screen into its lightweight design. Automated setups provide instant detection of circuits and configurations, ensuring that the instrument is ready to successfully collect data. Users can select the length and mode of data collection, including troubleshooting, data-logging, power quality surveys, energy and load balancing.

The meter is suitable for AC and DC applications and has four voltage and four current channels with a sampling rate of 256 samples/cycle. THD and TID spectrum analyses up to the 63rd harmonic are performed, as well as a range of parameter measurements including crest factor, K factor, transformer derating factor and telephone interference factor. The unit is capable of remote communication over RS232, Ethernet or USB, and is compatible with Dran-View software running under Windows NT, 98, ME, 2000 and XP.
