EAO offers a selection of trigger-action emergency-stop switches as part of its 04, 61 and 44 Series of panel-mounting switches. Available in both twist-to-release and key-to-release options, these series of E-Stops are protected to IP 65 from the front.
The Series 04 and 44 are 22,5 mm mounted switches with 37 mm diameter actuators. The 04 incorporates a bayonet fitting contact block with two mounting screws for fixing position, while the 44 has a snap-on contact block with slow-make forced-open contacts. The Series 61 is the 16 mm version, which has a 27 mm diameter actuator. This is installed using a threaded shaft and lock-nut.
All these switches have been designed in accordance with EN 60947-5-1 and feature a foolproof actuation method to EN418. The mechanism prevents the switch contacts being operated without fully actuating the mushroom head.
