Marantz has launched iMentor, a training and support system designed to help new and experienced operators get the most out of the company's range of advanced AOI technologies. Engineered to deliver short programming times and excellent inspection results, iMentor aims to substantially improve operator productivity for ongoing process optimisation.
A Web-based tool that can also be used offline, iMentor incorporates step-by-step guidance supported by screenshots, helping users to set up programs while navigating through easy-to-follow instructions. A useful search feature also enables users to input keywords to find corresponding articles from the online manual, thereby removing the need for time-consuming paper searches. This function also enables users to search Marantz's 'Frequently Asked Questions' database, gaining immediate access to helpful advice and information.
The intuitive new system also acts as a portal to the very latest Marantz product and company information. Featuring an informative front page that alerts users about new software releases and MainStampLibrary updates, iMentor is constantly updated to ensure that users can rely on 24/7 access to the very latest programming information and advice.
