Mean Well has announced the introduction of 12 W regulated single- and dual-output DC-DC converters for the growing demands of low cost and miniature size applications. With DIP packaging, the SCW12 and DCW12 series are available in 32 x 20 x 12 mm packages which operate at full load under 60°C ambient temperatures.
Standard features include 2:1 wide input range, 1500 V d.c. input/output isolation, remote ON/OFF control, low ripple noise, low cost, CE/FCC compliance, and short circuit/overload protection. With good EMC characteristics, they are suitable for industrial control, telecom/datacom, and distributed power architecture applications.
Both single-output SCW12 series and dual-output DCW12 series devices feature input ranges of 9 to 18 V, 18 to 36 V and 36 to 72 V, with outputs of 5, 12 and 15 V.
