EAO supplies a versatile range of water-tight, vandal-resistant keypads in the form of the AV series. AV keypads include the popular AVLE, AVSE and AVME versions, all constructed using a durable, click-dome matrix enclosed by a protective, silicone rubber case. Individual keys are mounted over the click-domes to create an operator surface with a high level of tactile feedback. They offer IP67 protection when mounted behind a panel.

EAO offers 8, 12, 16 and 20-key versions as standard with a choice of plastic or anti-pull-off metal keys. The AVLE model is also available with LED illumination in a choice of red, green and yellow with other colours available on request.

The layout of keys can be varied depending on the model: keys can be doubled-up to provide extra wide function buttons for payment terminal applications, for example 'Enter', 'Cancel' or 'Correct' keys; removed in order to leave a gap; and coloured and laser engraved with an almost infinite choice of symbols. All customisations are available on request.

The AV range is suitable for many purposes including access control, self-service payment and vending machines.
