EAO has launched a new PIN-entry keypad as part of its W.series range. Resistant to impact, vibration and sealed to IP67, they are ideal for ATMs, PIN-entry terminals, fuel pumps, ticket-issuing machines and other self-service, speed-payment systems.
The 16-button keypad features four double-sized keys for common commands like 'enter', 'cancel' and 'clear'. The raised key legends are compliant with many banking regulations for the visually-impaired, and, if required, EAO can further customise the keypads with laser-engraved symbols in a range of colours.
The all-metal grid and anti-pull-off keys are vandal-resistant, each one offering a service life of 4 million operations in temperatures between -25°C and +80°C. Encryption modules can be integrated within these products through established and trusted third-party partnerships.
