Altico, a division of Actum Electronics, supplies a range of surface resistivity meters in its line of ESD testing equipment.
The BB1950 uses parallel metal electrodes to measures surface resistivity and resistance to ground, over the range from 103 to 1012 Ω/sq and with accuracy of ±10%. It measures 13 x 7 x 2,5 cm and is supplied with a carrying bag.
The BB1310 comes with two 2,5 kg electrodes and a probe with parallel electrodes, and measures surface resistivity, resistance to ground and point-to-point resistance. It provides ±10% over the measuring range from 103–1013 Ω/sq. It features an analog display as well as LEDs for quick reference of conductive, dissipative and insulative properties. It features an automatic ranging of the test voltage – 10 V for conductive surfaces, 100 V for dissipative surfaces – and an override switch which can be used for measuring at 10 V only. It measures 10,2 x 19 x 7 cm and is supplied in a conductive case.
