Euroquartz has launched a new surface mount temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) from Greenray Industries, which offers temperature stabilities more usually associated with oven controlled temperature compensated (OCXO) devices - as low as ±7 x 108 over an operating temperature range as wide as -50 to +95°C. Equally impressive, the new T1220 features current consumption of less than 30 mA.
The new TCXO has been designed for applications that require tight stability, low input power and no warm-up time. Its compact, industry-standard surface mount package measures just 20,3 x 12,7 x 8,4 mm.
Available in frequencies from 10 to 50 MHz and with either a 3,5 or 5 V supply, the T1220's rugged package and excellent G-sensitivity make it suitable for portable as well as airborne applications in demanding environments.
