High-precision, high-speed mounters

The YG100RA and YG100RB from Yamaha are high-speed component mounters capable of handling up to 24 000 components per hour - the equivalent of 0,15 seconds per placement.

Both machines handle a wide range of components up to 15 mm in height, from 0402 chips to 45 x 45 mm components, as well as connectors up to 100 mm in length, with absolute mounting accuracy of ±50 μm for standard chips and ±30 μm for QFPs. They can handle PCB sizes from 50 x 50 mm to 510 x 440 mm (L x W).

The YG100RB features eight inline multiheads with a large diameter nozzle, gripper nozzle or customised nozzles, allowing high-precision mounting of large fine-pitch QFP and odd-shapes connectors. The YG100RA has an index mechanism which replaces nozzles during movement, to cut down on machine idle time.
