Faulty switches caused by overheating during the soldering process are now a thing of the past. mec offers the Multimec switches, now manufactured in PBT, which is more heat resistant than conventional plastic materials. Multimec pushbutton switches are IP67 compliant and can therefore be used in demanding environments. The standard temperature range is now from -55 to + 115°C.
Contact material is silver. Mechanical lifetime is more than 10 million cycles. Actuator travel is 1 mm. Accessories include buttons and bezels in a variety of colours, extended height or illumination.
