Vandal-resistant control panel pushbuttons

EAO has introduced a new range of vandal-resistant pushbuttons to improve the design and durability of control panels.

Featuring a stainless steel body, these 16 mm and 19 mm R.series pushbuttons are protected to IP65 for use outside or within aggressive environments. They offer a mechanical service life of 1 million operations within an operating temperature of -20°C to +55°C.

The 19 mm versions are available with LED illumination, either an attractive ‘halo’ ring or central dot. The halo effect creates a contemporary look that is also an effective way to focus the user’s attention on a primary function. Red, green, yellow, orange, blue and white LEDs are offered as standard.

The R.series pushbutton features a round actuator with a momentary switching action. It mounts flush to the panel and connects with soldering/plug-in or screw terminals.

Typical applications include access control, ticketing machines, automats, vending machines and kiosks alongside industrial machinery and factory equipment.
