Intersil announced the ISL88001/2/3 low-power family of three-lead voltage supervisors. These devices consume just 160 nA at 1,8 V supply voltage, making them particularly suited to battery-powered and portable designs. The devices also provide tight voltage threshold accuracy of ±1,2% for dependable reset assertion and precision monitoring of +1,8 V or +5 V power supplies. A 200 ms power-on reset timeout function further prevents erroneous resets in the application. Among the choices available when selecting the ISL88001/2/3 is the ability to choose from nine of the industry’s most widely-used factory-set voltage thresholds. They also feature three distinct reset output types: active low push-pull (ISL88001), active low open drain (ISL88002) and active high push-pull (ISL88003).
