Erni's 1,27 mm pitch economical board-to-wire solution connectors have been developed for fully-automatic SMT assembly and allow connections between flat cable and PCBs using only one connector.
Erni says the assembly process is simple: The connector is fitted fully automatically and soldered by means of SMT reflow soldering process. Flat cable is pre-configured and made up in the cable guide. The made-up cable guide is placed on the connector and using an application tool cable assembly is completed.
Features: black insulation body for easy visual recognition (LCP high temperature resistant thermoplastic for all standard SMT reflow soldering processes); number of contacts: 12, 26, 50, 68 and 80; pitch 1,27 mm; termination PCB - SMT for flat cable - IDC; dielectric strength - contact: 500 V; contact is Cu alloy plated; mating area is Au and termination Sn.
