LeCroy’s new WavePro 7Zi oscilloscope provides a complete debug solution above 1,5 GHz bandwidth. It allows 50 and 1 M inputs for every channel and four inputs into high-speed front-end amplifiers and analog to digital converters.
The oscilloscope’s architecture provides fast memory performance and high data throughput, even when performing complex measurements. It also eliminates trade-offs between long memory lengths and quick processing by improving CPU cache memory efficiency. This means that basic tasks and advanced operations can be performed quickly and allows front panel response to be instantaneous.
The unit has the ability to capture megapoints of waveform information and analyse it to find anomalies. TriggerScan uses high-speed hardware triggering capability with persistence displays to capture only the signals of interest. While traditional fast display update modes work best on frequent events occurring on slow edge rates, TriggerScan excels in finding infrequent events on fast edge rates.
The 7Zi has a deep toolbox, providing many measurement, math, graphing, statistical and other ways to analyse data.
