M-Systems Flash Disk Pioneers, a leader in flash disk data storage products for embedded systems and Internet appliances, has announced that COM One, France-based telecom products leader, has selected its DiskOnChip flash disk as the local data storage device in its @max product line.

@max is designed to be a simple-to-use terminal for both the consumer and professional markets that offers Internet access, e-mail and fax, all with standard telephone functions. DiskOnChip provides the flash disk capacity for storage of the operating system, applications and user data such as e-mail addresses, telephone numbers and favourite web pages. DiskOnChip also enables on-line updates and customisation.
