AAEON has launched a new PC/104 CPU module designed with a focus on wide operating temperature, rugged mechanical characteristics and compact size.
The PFM-541I is built upon the AMD Geode LX800 processor and AMD CS5536 I/O chip. With up to 256 MB of onboard DDR333 system memory, the board offers two 10/100Base-TX Ethernet ports as well as four USB2.0, four COM ports and PC/104 expansion. Storage needs are met by both IDE and CompactFlash interfaces.
The PFM-541I is available in variants conforming to AAEON’s WiTAS I and WiTAS II temperature assurance levels. WiTAS I covers the temperature range from
-25°C to 70°C, while the more stringent WiTAS II assures operation between
