Midtronics’ new MDX-600 series combines conductance technology for battery testing with an improved user interface and capabilities for safe, fast and simple battery and electrical system testing. The analysers can be used to detect call defects, shorts, normal ageing and open circuits that can cause a battery to fail.
The MDX-600 series includes the MDX-640 battery conductance analyser for battery testing; the MDX-650 battery and electrical system analyser which combines the full MDX-640 capabilities for battery testing as well as in-vehicle capabilities for analysing starting and charging systems; and the MDX-650P which combines both the MDX-640 and 650 features and includes an integrated printer.
The analysers offer complete system information in an easy to read and understand format, with date and time for accurate records and a user definable header. They feature a data card reader for future software upgrades and a QC mode for performing quality control testing.
