Bourns' Trimpot has added a new model to its linear motion potentiometer product line. The Model 3046 is smaller in size than Model 3048 and is sealed from external moisture that may be encountered during normal use. This economical device offers a long cycle life and is available in three electrical travel ranges. Designed for use in today's demanding environment, the Model 3046 linear motion potentiometer features: small size; sealed shaft (up to 10 000 cycles); travel ranges: 3,8, 6,4 and 8,9 mm; cycle life: 500 000 cycles; operating temperature range: -55 to +125°C; infinite resolution.
Applications where this linear motion potentiomer can be used include automotive applications (engine valve positioning, mirror positioning), industrial applications (joysticks, robotics, wind turbines) and various position sensing applications.
