Silver-filled EMI shielding gaskets

Instrument Specialties-APM's ElectroCoat represents a new class of EMI shielding material that combines the low compression characteristics of fabric over foam with the environmental sealing characteristics of conductive elastomer gaskets into a unique EMI product. ElectroCoat is a thin, flexible surface coating consisting of a silver-filled silicone elastomer. The versatile coating can be easily applied to die cut or moulded foams, moulded or extruded elastomers, other polymers or a wide range of other materials. The combination of conductive coating with a nonconductive substrate provides a cost-effective EMI solution with the low compression force of fabric over foam and the environmental sealing and high frequency performance of conductive elastomers.
