Power tool switch focuses on safety

With the power tool switch of the 2246 series, Marquardt has developed a completely encapsulated switch with an integrated interference suppression capacitor. This system solution defuses potential dangers in various target equipment, such as in one-handed angle grinders where metal dust gradually accumulates in the whole handle shell, and can lead to sparkovers.

With the 2246 series, all live metal parts are completely insulated inside the switch so that all the power connections in the tools are potential-free to the outside. The switch has four push-in terminals for power cable and motor, and four other terminals can be offered as an option to connect additional fully insulated electronics. Versions are therefore possible as mechanical on/off switches and with docked electronics.
