A new fully differential amplifier family from Texas Instruments drives high accuracy data conversion across single- and multichannel SAR and delta-sigma ADCs in a wide range of applications, including industrial, medical and audio. The THS4521, THS4522 and THS4524’s impressive performance-to-power ratio makes them well suited to applications requiring high resolution and precision with high dynamic range, such as pressure and flowmeters, seismic equipment and electrocardiogram machines, as well as battery-operated devices and other applications with sensitive power budgets. Quiescent current consumption is 1,14 mA/channel while power-down current is just 20 μA. The devices boast 145 MHz bandwidth and 490 V/μs slew rate to buffer and amplify signals without increasing system power consumption. Input voltage noise is 4,6 nV/rtHz and the devices’ output common mode control allows for easy DC coupling, in addition to their negative rail input and rail-to-rail output capability.
