Beijing Hanson Electronics has designed a range of electronics drying cabinets specifically to store items particularly sensitive to moisture and contamination, such as semiconductors, liquid crystals, quartz oscillators, wafers, filters, fine chemicals, powder material, gauges, circuit boards and detectors.
The range of cabinets suits requirements for small spaces, as well as those needing large capacity. They are effective at preventing ingress of moisture, fungus, dust, oxidation, ageing and rust. The cabinets operate silently and are maintenance free, with no consumable parts. They automatically maintain 10–50% RH (relative humidity) at ambient temperature. A digital display indicates the humidity and temperature of the inside of the cabinet.
The cabinets are constructed from coated steel and the distance between trays is adjustable. Internal dimensions range from 446 x 372 x 590 mm to 1198 x 682 x 1723 mm. Optional extras include transporting wheels and a nitrogen flow meter which uses a microcontroller to acquire digital data and provide realtime control of the nitrogen supply. When the humidity is below the setpoint value, the system switches off the nitrogen gas supply automatically. If the humidity is higher than the setpoint value, the system switches on the nitrogen supply.
