The new JWPF series connector recently introduced by JST is designed for small applications that require resistance to water ingress.
Uniquely constructed, these 2,0 mm pitch connectors feature a spring action housing-to-terminal lock, which assures smooth and easy insertion and firm contact retention. The connector also incorporates a solid rubber seal for wire side sealing, which facilitates a compact size and ensures a waterproof grade of more than 7 ingress protection of JIC C 0920 (IP67 of IEC 60529).
The JWPF disconnectable, crimp style connector series is currently available in two, three and four circuits rated 3 A (AC/DC) (AWG #22) at 100 V a.c./d.c. Temperature range is -40°C to +85°C. Header plating is lead-free and complies with European (RoHS) directive 2002/95/EC.
