Card handle shielding

Circuit & System Protection
Instrument Specialties-APM offers three unique products designed to shield the front panels of card cages. These three products accommodate the IEEE standard 1101.10, commonly referred to as Dot-10.
This front panel shielding has been designed to shield between the front panels on sub-racks and plug-in units. One version is a beryllium copper solid top symmetrical slotted finger stock strip pre-plated in sulfamate nickel. It is designed to mount on the T shape on a front panel extrusion. Specially designed for wiping applications, the configuration of these gaskets allows total symmetrical compression action with bidirectional engagement.
The fabric over foam versions are a nickel/copper plated fabric over neoprene core and a nickel/copper plated fabric over a urethane core. These are designed to be mounted using pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape on grooved aluminium extrusions, common in the Dot-10 enclosure. The fabric over foam gaskets offer exceptionally low compression and are ideal in high-speed/high-access applications.

Editor's Choice Circuit & System Protection
As soon as electronics and electrical systems started interfering with each other, the world had to come to some consensus. Considering physics is universal and does not care about what country electrical/electronic products are used in, it should be the same everywhere, right? It is nearly there, but not quite.
