Agilent has expanded its mixed-signal and digital-storage oscilloscope portfolio with the new Infiniium 9000 series.
The six new scopes in the range offer broad measurement capability with bandwidths up to 4 GHz and built-in logic and protocol analysis. Each model is also equipped with a 15-inch XGA LCD display and available in a package measuring 22,86 cm deep and weighing 11,3 kg. The 9000 series oscilloscopes also feature integrated logic analysis channels and a protocol analyser viewer for buses such as PCIe and USB.
In addition to the analog specifications, the Infiniium 9000 features integrated digital channels running at 2 GSps. This provides a rich set of MSO (mixed signal oscilloscope) trigger conditions for accurate analysis of timing relationships between control signals and data buses.
A broad suite of debug and compliance application software is included. Packed with numerous general-purpose measurements and analysis features, the oscilloscopes can be customised with a number of software options. Supported application packages give engineers meaningful insight into common serial buses, FPGAs and RF measurements, and allow for rapid compliance testing to industry standards.
Debug application software includes protocol triggering and viewing for PCIe and USB, serial decode and trigger for I²C, SPI, CAN, RS232 buses and other UART microcontrollers, rapid core-assisted debug of designs with Xilinx or Altera FPGAs, and InfiniiScan for triggering on infrequent signals that meet visual criteria. Compliance testing applications include communication mask testing, DDR1, DDR2, DDR3, Ethernet and USB 2.0.
