Power devices in MiniBLOC package

Ixys' Power MOSFET family, the IXKN40N60C in SOT 227B package, is suitable for switching frequencies above 250 kHz. Besides the optimised switching behaviour the CoolMos transistor typically has a very low switch-on resistance (70 mOhm). The device has a blocking voltage of 600 V and guarantees a current Id = 40 A at a case temperature Tc = 25°C.
The MiniBLOC package (SOT227) is provided with screws for mounting, offers the necessary isolation to the heatsink. Typical applications are for high frequency switch mode power supplies and systems with power factor correction.
