Meder’s CRR reed relay series is a low-profile family made with a ceramic case that exactly matches the thermal coefficient of expansion of the reed switch glass and the reed lead to eliminate any potential packaging stress. The relays are among the smallest in the industry and can switch into the billions of operations. Measuring only 8,6 x 4,4 x 3,4 mm, the leadless design eliminates skewing of leads and coplanarity issues. The relays have 1 μV typical thermal offset and typical insulation resistance greater than 1014 Ω.
The reed relays are designed for applications such as test and measurement, medical equipment and telecommunications and features a ceramic/thermoset moulded package. They are available with BGA termination and feature gold plated leads. An internal magnetic shield comes standard, and all internal components are TCE matched.
