Benchtop DMMs

Tektronix recently introduced the DMM4020 5½ digit and DMM4040/4050 6½ digit bench digital multimeters (DMMs).

These products are targeted at embedded design and education classroom bench applications. They provide measurement accuracy up to 0,0024% DC and extended analysis including histograms, trending and statistics. Boasting a numeric and graphical display, the instruments provide USB storage with data logging support and embed National Instruments LabVIEW SignalExpress software (Tektronix edition).

The 4040 and 4050 models provide LAN, GPIB, RS232 and USB-RS232 adapter connectivity, while the 4020, which is well suited for customers who require basic DMM functionality and are budget limited, does not include LAN and GPIB interfaces.
